Ergonomie stand bei der Idee für die neue Handspannung eindeutig an erster Stelle. Die Spannbewegung erfolgt nach unten, also genau in jene Richtung, in der der Daumen naturgemäß am stärksten ist. Wood is a natural material that can naturally warp due to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. These tensions can lead to poor lock action, reduction in precision and change in point of impact. By using the modern and highly rigid material carbon, this problem is eliminated in the “de zum Jager’n”. A carbon bedding block formed and hardened in a hydraulic 100-ton press is glued into the shaft and ensures stress-free bedding of all components. This means that the natural material wood can be used in its most beautiful form without having to accept compromises in precision.
By means of three hexagon socket nuts made of tempered steel, which remain in the stock and are therefore captive, the system with barrel and scope can be easily removed from the stock and stowed in a case or rucksack. Der Abzug verbleibt dabei im Schaft und ist somit bestens geschützt.
Für die „de zum Jager’n“ sind neben den klassischen 11mm-Prismen Montagesockeln auch Picatinny-Montagesockel sowie eine durchgehende Picatinnyschiene erhältlich. Das System wird aus vorvergütetem rostfreiem Stahl gefertigt, wodurch eine spätere Wärmebehandlung unnötig wird und somit die Geradheit der Verschlusspassung gewährleistet wird. Die Verriegelung hat denselben Durchmesser wie der Verschluss, wodurch das System nicht wie bei anderen Verriegelungskonzepten durch Längsnuten geschwächt wird, und somit seine Stabilität behält. Ebenso ist die Magazinöffnung so schmal wie möglich gehalten.
Der Schaft der „de zum Jager’n“ liegt perfekt in der Hand und vereint dabei eine klassische Form mit eleganter Linienführung. You can choose between a classic stock, a hunting match stock and a carbon stock. Die Schaftlänge ist beim Model „Custom“ frei wählbar und wird dem Schützen angepasst. Ebenso kann gern das Holz vor Ort ausgesucht werden.
